You find us in the heart of Andalucía, one of the most interesting regions in Spain. Between plains and mountains, but still not far from the coast.

All the small, white villages have made Andalucía well known. Our closest village is Valle de Abdalajís and it is located approx. 60 km northwest of Málaga and approx. 20 km southwest of Antequera. The finca (a finca is a Spanish country property) is 3,5 km from the centre of this village. The valley of Valle del Guadalhorce, also called Valle del Sol, runs from Málaga and passes by several other villages, among them Cártama, Pizarra and Álora. Oranges, lemons, olives and almonds are grown here and in the northern part also some grain. The speed of life is a bit different here from what you find along the coast. People live much like they have done for the last generation or two. You still see the shepherds walking around with their goats.

We recommend a rental car in order to enjoy all the activities in the area.

From the airport, follow signs towards Málaga. Turn off towards Antequera to get onto the ringroad E15. The next turn off is signposted Cártama and Universidad with road number A-357. Under the bridge make a right turn, the sign for Cártama is very little here. You are now on A-357 and you follow this until turnoff towards Pizarra and Álora with road number A-343, between the km 41 and 40 signs. After about 800 meters there is a new crossroad, turn right towards Álora and Pizarra. Follow the signs towards Álora and stay on this road until you cross the river and reach a T-junction next to a big restaurant called Los Caballos. Turn left, you are now on road number A-343. Near Álora, don´t enter the village, but go straight in the roundabout, towards Valle de Abdalajís. Follow the road A-343 until you pass the km 30 sign and almost one km more. After passing two Valle de Abdalajís signs, just before the km 29 sign, turn right at the crossroad, you see the village of Valle de Abdalajís on your left. After about 100 meters the road separates in two, keep to the left. After approx. 2,5 km you reach the first crossroad (look for crossroad sign), turn right and follow the road to the left when it splits in two after about 150 meters. About 800 meters down the hill you'll find Posada HumbleBee Home on your right hand side.

From Antequera you follow the signs towards Álora and Valle de Abdalajís, road number A-343. On the hill above the city there is a crossroad with a sign towards Valle de Abdalajís and Álora, turn right. Follow this road, A-343, until you have just passed the village of Valle de Abdalajís and make a left turn in the crossroad just after the km 29 sign. After about 100 meters the road separates in two, keep to the left. After approx. 2,5 km you reach the first crossroad (look for crossroad sign), turn right and follow the road to the left when it splits in two after about 150 meters. About 800 meters down the hill you'll find Posada HumbleBee Home on your right hand side.
